You will be an outstanding sales person with a background in both direct and, through the appointment and management of a network of dealers, in indirect sales channels across the German speaking countries. You will be used to conducting business there, and you will have full responsibility and accountability for winning over prospects and building sustainable key and strategic accounts as well as nurturing business relationships. You will establish channel strategies and provide existing customers like outdoor sports and DIY outlets, craftsmen, as well as department stores, e-commerce-providers and mail order businesses with support and motivation to ensure compliance with our philosophy and outlook. Your expertise will have prepared you to draw up quotations and to communicate convincingly even at the highest levels with charisma, and to negotiate and close profitable agreements resulting from building a customer focused value proposition. Apart from organizing and participating in trade shows both nationally and internationally, you will continuously observe and assess trends in our market sectors and work with channel partners and our marketing department to develop and implement promotions and marketing initiatives. Absolute customer orientation for the purpose of optimum customer satisfaction will characterize your plan of action. Internally, you will provide guidance through sales forecasts and creative contribution to the rolling marketing strategy to ensure that goals and objectives will be met within agreed budgets and time constraints. You will be systematic in your work and a self-starter who operates independently, with self-discipline and a cross-border mind-set. PC-literacy and excellent oral and written skills in English and German will allow you to interact freely with customers and colleagues and to report to the local General Manager. Apart from extensive travel throughout the assigned territory for at least 50% of your working time, this challenging role requires permanent presence in the Rhineland.
