Principal Engineer Chip Development - VCSEL (d/m/f)
Aufgaben:
Development of VCSEL technology, including for data communication
Innovative advancement and optimization of VCSEL component properties
Integration of VCSELs into novel applications through close collaboration with process development and manufacturing interfaces
Sustainable, systematic resolution of complex design and process-related issues
In-depth analysis of influencing parameters on component properties and cross-process understanding of interactions
Qualifikationen:
Successfully completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical/scientific field of study
Solid professional experience in the VCSEL and semiconductor industry required
Experience with high-frequency technology for data communication as well as aging mechanisms and reliability of VCSEL components
Profound knowledge in semiconductor technology and/or device physics
Broad knowledge of available frontend processes
Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
High level of problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Very good command of English, both written and spoken; medium German skills are desirable
