Software Architect (m/f/d)

What you will do

In this important role, you will be responsible for the design and the development of modular software architecture in the field of robotic and liquid handling automation solutions. In a team, you will be developing technological concepts as well as structural requirements which will be implemented in our software application projects. While doing this, you will be working together with our project teams situated in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the USA.

  • Planning, design and development of a modular software architecture and its interfaces
  • Creating reference designs and best practices, and supporting our projects and software developers
  • Evaluation of new software concepts, tools and methodologies
  • Architecture and design reviews as well as training our software developers

What you bring along

  • A completed university (of applied sciences) degree in the field of software development, automation technologies or another technical/scientific subject area
  • 5 years of experience in software development in an industrial environment using C# and the .NET framework, preferably in the area of medical technologies and/or robotics
  • 3 years of experience as a software architect in a variety of projects, preferably in the area of hardware and software development
  • A solid understanding of the development of end user software
