The energy transition will fundamentally change how energy grids and markets work, due to a large penetration of decentral and intermittent renewable energy supply. At the same time we are facing the withdrawal of conventional power plants from the system and electrification of transport and heating. For this future-oriented energy supply, predictions about energy consumption and energy feed-in are becoming increasingly important. As Data Scientist you will be the thought leader on big data analytics and analyse large data sets, create valuable insights for the business and identify new data sources to improve the forecast design You will recognize faulty data delivery and correct them to avoid prediction errors You will work in a data lab environment, but you should also be able to bring your newly developed algorithms into productions You will continiously contact and exchange information with the data suppliers to optimize the input data
