We are internationally working HR- consultants with long-term experience in Executive Search. We support our customers in finding high- level managers worldwide. Our client is a German, family owned international market leader in the field of industrial metrology and metering systems. Proof of the strong international focus lies in the fact that the 20 subsidiaries worldwide currently account for over 50 percent of the company's turnover. Our client is active in the US since 1970. The subsidiary in Rhode Island includes its own production facility («Made in the US») and currently has a total of about 250 employees. For the further expansion of business we are looking for you as General Manager (m/f/d) Sales & Marketing - United States - Tasks: Full responsibility for sales, marketing, service, and product management in the United States Provide dynamic and positive leadership to the team (approx. 50 employees) Development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy in the US for a continuing profitable growth Growing market share of current business with focus on the major target industries automotive, machinery, and medical Manage and further deepen the business relations to the most important Key Accounts personally Definition of key sales KPI's & metrics Direct reporting to the CEO and dotted-line to the German HQ Requirements: Technical degree or degree in Business Administration with a sound technical understanding Long-term experience in sales and key account management Leadership experience in an industrial company in the US Good knowledge in the field of metrology and measurement or other highly technical products and systems (e.g. sensors, industrial automation) Customer-focused character with excellent communication skills Entrepreneurial, result driven personality with conceptual strength and a general understanding of P&L Trustful personality living in the region Native skills in English Our client offers an attractive salary for this position including health insurance benefits and car allowance.
