Hardware R&D Engineer (m/f/d)
Electronic circuit design (digital and analog), schematic entry, close collaboration with layout department
Simulation and optimization of hardware designs and concepts
Turn-on prototypes, qualification, debugging and conducting characterization measurements
Develop and apply basic software skills to operate hardware on low-level to conduct automated measurements
Accompany product life cycle from requirements collection to begin of series production
Master's / Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
Electronic Design and Simulation for analog and high-speed digital
Experience with electrical measurement methods and equipment
Basic programming language skills (e.g. Python, C, Matlab)
Excellent team work and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (FPGA, Software, Electrical and Applications engineers, as well as production and field support teams)
Solid English language skills
Preferred (but not required):
Good German language skills
Experience designing complex circuit boards, ideally including high performance digital ICs (such as FPGAs, ARM or x86 Processors, current generation DRAMs etc.), high-density DC/DC converters, high-speed serial interfaces
Experience with digital signal processing
