We are hiring a Human Resources Director for the Business Unit Germany As the Human Resources Director Germany, you report directly to the Chief Executive Officer Germany, with a dotted line to the Global HR Lead based in Zurich. On the one hand you will be part of the highly engaged global team, on the other hand you take the whole accountability of Human Resources for all of the 1,700 employees of SPS Germany. In this role, you can mentor and develop four Direct Reports and several 2nd Line Reports. You will be responsible for shaping and developing the HR strategy for all locations of SPS Germany. As a Strategic Partner, you are overseeing all HR-relevant topics from recruiting to retaining. Very challenging and demanding tasks are waiting for you such as managing a multi-site team, talent acquisition, talent management, retaining, succession planning, performance management, compensation, organizational development, termination, offboarding, compliance, and controlling activities etc. Responsibilities: Strategic, highly involved and trusted advisor and counsellor for strategic human resources planning Managing all operational HR topics, including but not limited to: payroll administration, time management, contracts, personnel controlling etc. Leading the German HR team across all locations Recommending, developing and providing solutions to Human Capital needs which enhances growth and revenue as it supports the client needs, especially talent acquisition and development Turning business strategies into human resources strategies and action plans - in alignment with SPS Global HR Driving and fostering a customer-focused, result-oriented, solution-driven mindset and culture Successfully driving Business Process Outsourcing, HR Due Diligence, and Post Merger Integration as well as negotiating with social partners Facilitating organizational change and managing the HR aspects of integrations and restructuring Taking care of development and succession planning in her/his own organization Education and Experience: The experience and business skills to play a true leadership / business partner role up to senior management The vision, style and political savvy to navigate the senior executive ranks with occasionally competing interests A sustained record of success in providing effective advice and support Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong track record of building relationships across organizational lines Ca. 10 to 15 years working experience in a similar role Ability to think innovatively and to engage, inspire and influence people Significant knowledge of labour law (BGB § 613a) as well as strong legal acumen and skills for negotiations with different stakeholders Proficiency in English (C1) and German (C2) is a must Knowledge in SAP HCM If you would like to be considered for this role, please submit your application (CV / résumé with relevant supporting documentation and references) via LinkedIn or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
