Direct and coordinate all plant functions including Manufacturing, Materials, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, Human Resources, Accounting, Mfg. Engineering and Environmental, Health & Safety to assure common direction toward plant goals Guide and support the plant EH&S program in improvements, investigations and corrective actions to meet and exceed local laws and company standards and policies Guide and support the plant quality system in procedures and controls to improve overall customer satisfaction, Be proactive and responsive to all factors of customer satisfaction including delivery, schedule changes and special instructions Guide and support plant maintenance, facilities and mfg eng. Improvements, process improvements, facility improvements and capital expenditures Guide and support plant resources in meeting material and labor productivity plans Direct the submittal of the plant's Annual Operating Plan and business financial forecasts and response plans Direct and guide the long term product strategy for the manufacturing business Maintain a positive rapport with all levels of the organization in order to foster and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and high employee engagement Collaborate with all levels of the organization to insure alignment of goals and progress towards them along with short term and long term needs and plans Lead and support the development of plant employees and plant succession planning activities Guide and support the local human resources procedures, policies and guidelines to meet and exceed local and company guidelines Lead the implementation of Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies, and create an effective long term Lean manufacturing strategy in accordance with company guidelines

P and L experince. Extensive knowledge and experience within lean manufacturing. Proven leadership and management skills. Experience managing teams of over 300 employees Experience with restructure and turnover, lean management or continuous improvement. Implimented manufacturing systems or implimented standards within a plant and it's performance is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills and result oriented with highly focus on engaging people. Listen to employees for feedback on best methods of improvement for safety, quality and efficiency. Extensive Automotive experience Fluent German and English speaker.
