As Sales Director you are responsible for our sales activities and winning new customers in the Professional Services Industry. Quickly take stock of the business as it stands today, developing a deep understanding of our client's new accelerated growth strategy, routes to market, competitors and customers; As a key member of the PSO and German leadership team, this individual must develop excellent working relationships with the sales organisation and channel partners, establish credibility with the functional organisations and quickly assimilate into the company's culture as a leader; Provide direction, leadership and a very strong personal contribution to the sales organisation, ensuring efforts are focused on aggressively growing top-line revenues through generation of scalable, repeatable, structured client and partner relationships; Take ownership of a sales organisation, which will require them to leverage and grow our clients significant customer base through direct, relationship-oriented «solutions» sales, as well as aggressively build additional revenue via strategic alliances and other partners. This includes managing the evolution of services being delivered in-house to a channel delivery model; Provide clear and inspirational leadership to the sales team, leading from the front. Ensure that everyone understands what is expected of them, that messaging both internally and externally is aligned, and through example, build passion and energy and shared excitement into the business; Represent the PSO business at the highest levels of customer organisations, and to the market at large, taking all appropriate opportunities to raise the profile of the company in Professional Services Industry; Play a proactive role in the customer-facing activities of the company - sales, marketing, services and operations. Be prepared to be 'hands-on' and dig into detail when required; Hiring where appropriate, ensure the development of a first-class sales operation

Further revenue growth is expected and so this individual will need to demonstrate having the head-room to grow and take on increasing responsibility; Demonstrable track record of successfully managing sales teams of comparable size as well as possess the ability to lead indirectly and influence professional services and marketing organisations; The ideal candidate will have substantial experience leading a software company through a period of realignment, cultural change, successful and rapid growth; Demonstrable ability and track record of bringing passion, energy and motivation to a sales team of similar size; First-class communication skills, able to win the team's commitment and buy-in to a common vision and clearly stated goals; Ability to hire, incentivize and retain world-class sales and field talent in the region; Able to provide effective sales team leadership and direction whilst enabling smooth collaboration with other parts of the organisation; Able to provide external leadership, developing solid partnerships  Experience, connections and ability to interface directly with CEOs, CFOs and other Board-level customers, engaging with them on business-critical issues; Experience within the ERP sector would be an advantage; Knowledge of SaaS highly desirable; You're smart and skilled. You are responsible, self-motivated and always driven to become better. You have a high degree of initiative and are always looking for the best solution to optimize our sales activities.
