Arrow is increasingly focusing on the cloud and continues to expand the portfolio around its own ArrowSphere platform with additional providers, cloud services, tools and programming interfaces (APIs). More than 50 cloud providers are now represented on the cloud platform.

As a result of this growth, we are currently looking for Sales Manager – Cloud Business Unit Leader, who will be leading the Cloud business in Germany.

About the Role:

You will be collaborating with our Leaders to create a Cloud team and structure. You will have an opportunity to design, implement and execute a sales strategy, and together with your newly created team of Business Development, Technical and Sales Specialists, you will be able to sell and promote company’s solutions to the Clients in your region.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leadership, development, performance management and expansion of a team of 6-8 employees
  • Support sales for offers & presentations
  • Planning, implementation & moderation of manufacturer and customer meetings / workshops
  • Supporting and consulting our existing customers in close cooperation with Cloud Sales Consultants and Cloud Architects
  • Integration and active involvement in strategic clients and projects
  • Project and Service Manager activities
  • Work in close interface with the other teams (Modern Data Center and Security)
  • Reference directly to the management and close cooperation with the EMEA cloud team.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Relevant experience in the Cloud sector
  • Business or Education degree or comparable training
  • Experience in building and leading diverse teams
  • Agile mindset & experience in sales and manufacturer management
  • Very good understanding of current cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of one or more topics related to Microsoft Azure, AWS, Alibaba, Google
  • Strategic thinking, presentation security, persuasiveness, good communication skills and customer-oriented thinking
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability to cooperate and to work within the team
