We are internationally working HR- consultants with long-term experience in Executive Search. We support our customers in finding high- level managers worldwide. Our client is a successful German company in the field of electromechanical products for industrial applications, energy, and transportation (e.g. rail). The product range includes connectors, switches, and contactors especially for safety related applications and harsh environments. The company is operating globally with more than 2.000 employees and an annual turnover of 400 Mio EUR. For the sales office in Yokohama, Japan we are looking for you as Sales Manager (m/f/d) Japan Tasks: Full profit and loss responsibility for sales and market development in Japan Definition and implementation of the sales strategy in Japan with focus on industrial applications (e.g. machinery, mobile machinery, automation & drives) Identification and acquisition of new projects within the renewable energies segment (e.g. energy storage, smart grid, wind, solar) Consulting and further development of existing customers Responsibility for the Key Accounts Observation of the market and analysis of customer-, product-, and competition-related information Trustful cooperation with and reporting to the Managing Director Asia Pacific in Hongkong as well as to the German HQ Requirements: Technical degree or degree in business administration with sound technical understanding Sales Management experience with documented success and good understanding of Japanese business culture. Sound technical knowledge, preferably with electromechanical or electronic components for the industry Good skills in Key Account Management Native Japanese and good skills in English Working experience with German companies would be a plus Trustful personality living in the Yokohama region or willing to relocate to Japan Our client offers an attractive salary, modern workplaces and excellent perspectives in a professional and innovative environment.
