As part of the Purchasing Excellence function, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall ownership, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects of future-orientated methods, processes, systems and/or tools as part of JSS Global Purchasing standardization and harmonization program. Works closely across all departments and regions on purchasing based projects. Supporting senior management in optimization and ongoing development activities within the purchasing organization. Directly reports to the Director Purchasing Excellence. Responsible to manage, develop, implement and rollout specific subject areas within Global Purchasing (e.g. process, methods and tools, training, strategic initiatives, etc...) Defines and leads project creation, implementation and completion, including but not limited to budget, timelines, and resources needed. Acting as liaison between various stakeholders, departments, outside agencies, and vendors; providing status reports and ensuring flow of communication between groups. Ensuring project work complies with practices, policies and standard operating procedures. Independent design of new concepts and coordination of improvement ideas and measures for introduction or better application of subject areas/instruments, fully in line with Global Purchasing targets; implementation of corresponding improvement measures Integration and transfer of Group policies within the assigned subject area worldwide Realization of projects to implement individual initiatives and/or projects to harmonize applications across the Regions Close interaction with relevant decision-makers in the purchasing organization regarding the realization of the assigned subject areas, including latest challenges Ensuring the smooth integration of purchasing process into the company process landscape; transfer of process instructions to users Leading of project teams

Must have a consolidated procurement experience ideally in the automotive industry Excellent meeting management skills. Must be comfortable leading project meetings, and setting/managing stakeholder expectations by solving complex issues and changes when appropriate Must be deadline sensitive and proactive in finding solutions to problems Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Soft skills: accountability, achievement driver, organization awareness, self-motivation and teamwork Overseas working experience would be a plus Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Project Management Prefer >5 years' experience in the purchasing automotive function Willingness to travel Knowledge of SAP is preferred Additional Position Details: The role can be based at any JSS Location Frequent global business travel required Competitive compensation and benefits package Relocation eligible Application: Please address your English & German job application to our Human Resources Specialist, Mr. Berthold G.
