As an Automotive OEM Manager you will build market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with automotive OEM. In this position, you will gather market and customer needs, and contribute in delivery of a marketing requirement documents to Automotive Division and other EBU functions. In addition, you will be the representative of the Automotive Division in front of our customers and work hand-in-hand with Automotive System Architects, Segment Marketing, Automotive BDM and partly field resources (Sales, FAE, CQE etc.).

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Analyzing market, competitive, sales and customer data to drive OEM plans and strategies.
  • Prepares a strategic OEM Business Development Plan for your region and the focus car makers. Align this plan with your partner like System Architects and BDM. Develop and deliver the car maker business plans through carrying out research, formulate market analysis (TAM/SAM) and deliver accurate business reports. This includes a detailed mapping of the OEM’s eco-system relationships.
  • Increase the company’s involvement with existing customers including high-level management relationships and identify new/emerging/disrupting OEM.
  • Define and follow up of yearly and long-term targets and objectives.
  • Develop strategies for new product opportunities and services. Provide product related requirements to the Auto PLM and System Architect Team.
  • Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
  • Execute the Automotive Division’s strategies and provide a quarterly review for the OEM in your region.
  • Develop and manage customer communication tools such as the automotive roadmaps, presentations and technology migration plans.
  • Pro-actively seek for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from Micron’s automotive products and services. This includes car maker driven consortium and alliances. (e.g. Auto ISAC)
  • Develop together with Strategic Marketing tools and collateral for existing and new customers.
  • Forecast long-range market potential in your region.
  • Assure Micron product release on OEM Approved Part List or Approved Vendor List.
  • Support BDM by transitioning the released products on OEM AVL into Tier1 business and market share.
  • Establish Micron as a strategic partner and trusted memory advisor at selected customers and car OEMs.

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience in Marketing/Sales or in other related field of study.
  • Experience in direct customer relations.
  • Min. bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Marketing and related studies preferred.
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry.
  • Fluency in English
  • German language is preferable
  • Self-motivated, driven, strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage own time and multi-task combined
