Strategic Operations Manager (m/f/d)


We are looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to join our Growth Operations team. In this highly visible role you will have a deep exposure to every facet of our business and the opportunity for high impact. You will work on identifying market opportunities and cross-functional solutions to drive business growth, increase the marketplace impact and achieve strategically meaningful results across our entire business.


Project Management:

  • Deliver expansion propositions for drivers, passengers & new business units
  • Handle non-BAU quick reaction projects and act at speed to in-market changes (whether regulatory, competitor, etc).
  • Dissect issues / opportunities, devise and deliver solutions up to a BAU level
  • Act as a sparring partner to RGMs/ GMs on region specific matters across all business elements
  • Become an integral part of an agile special projects team focussed on moving the business forward through operational opportunities
  • Ensure the delivery of operational plans where additional resource is required on a temporary basis

Expansion / Migration:

  • Implement internal and external growth opportunities on a market by market basis
  • Executing new market launches on the ground and from abroad
  • Integrate new business into BAU ensuring all details are considered
  • Steer and manage key stakeholders to tight deadlines

Desired experience, behaviours & values:

  • Strategically focused, self-driven, not afraid of putting yourself outside of your comfort zone
  • 4+ years of experience in operations / management consulting / project management / business development in a top tier consultancy, large business, startup or similar organisation
  • Experience in taking ownership of projects and delivering them on an individual basis
  • Entrepreneurial approach to project ownership with strong focus on execution
  • Confidence and concise presentation skills 
  • KPI driven with financial acumen 
  • Willingness to get stuck into the detail 
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable in disruptive environments where things are not always clear
  • Adaptable and flexible in fast moving scenarios
  • Clearly define POV under pressure and be comfortable in pushback scenarios
