Engineer Packaging Technology (m/f) Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems (BU P) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer. We are looking for an Engineer Packaging Technology (m/f) for secondary packaging as trays, palettes, etc. The candidate will be located in Mainz. Your profile: * Master of Science, preferably Packaging Technology, or Master of Arts or Economical Engineering * Ca. 6 years of professional experience in grouping packaging and transportation, quality and supplier management * Intercultural experience * Professional experience in Project and Change Management as well as Operational Excellence * Very good command of the English language * Structured working method, good communication and networking skills Your tasks: * Identifies options for cost reductions, improvement of processes and packaging materials and suppliers by analyzing all secondary packaging processes at the P-sites worldwide * Considers new secondary packaging and transportation demands from customers, analyzes new market trends and technologies * Submits proposals to supervisor for new and sustainable secondary packaging processes considering analysis findings, latest packaging technologies, demands of the BU and legal requirements * Develops harmonized standard automated solutions under consideration of cost aspects, GMP and special customer's demands, which are eligible for roll out at all sites * Responsible for implementation projects of the newly standardized process worldwide * Selects and collaborates with representatives from involved departments and considers their advices and demands in the new process * Defines demands for possible suppliers and participates together with Purchasing in the negotiations and selection of suppliers for secondary packaging materials * Ensures proper documentation of all newly established processes under adherence of GxP standards * Advises all colleagues involved in logistical processes in upcoming questions concerning this subject Your benefits: Motivated and committed employees are essential to the success of our company.
