Ge­ne­ral Ma­na­ger Bu­si­ness Unit Em­broi­dery Your main responsibilities Developing and implementing strategic and operational plans for the BU Embroidery and its products to achieve the objectives and to promote improvement, revenue, profitability and growth internally and externally Providing strategic direction and approval for: Marketing plan Financial and headcount budgets Operating and capital expenditure within delegated authority level Taking responsibility for a 5-year business plan & business development Turning around the business and achieve acceptable profitability Monitoring value chain to ensure efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the embroidery markets and regions, key competitors and their products, market drivers and associated trends Providing leadership and general management for the BU Embroidery to reinforce the companys values and its vision Performing presentations and attending meetings with established and potential key accounts and partners Your competencies As General Manager Business Unit Embroidery, you can provide: A Masters or Bachelors Degree (e. g. Business, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 to 10 years of business experience, preferably in a senior management position Experience in turning around a business preferred In-depth knowledge and experience in managing and implementing business development practices Strong general management experience and leadership skills, including the capability of providing direction to staff and management Strong organisational skills, strategic thinking skills and a market-oriented mind-set Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively and to represent the company internally and externally at all levels and functions The ability to provide innovative input to the development of new products Fluent German and English language skills (oral and written), as they are prerequisites We offer you: This challenging, responsible position offers the opportunity to shape the future for this market-leading organisation.
