Within our department Marketing & Business Development preferably in Munich we are looking for a: Strategic Alliance Manager (m/f) Customer focus first - to better support our customers solving their business needs we form alliances with other top players in their field of expertise related to our vertical focus industries. By combining complementary strength of each party while growing efficiency and speed to market we can increase the end-to-end solutions offering to our channel partners and end customers and augment customer satisfaction. The Strategic Alliance manager will play a key role in achieving NEC Display Solutions strategy and growth objectives by identifying, developing and growing partnerships with strategic alliance and ECO partners in our industry. Tasks and Responsibilities Identify, develop and grow partnerships with strategic alliance and ECO partners for Software-/ Hardware solutions, Application reference designs, Interoperability recommendations, Technology as well as non-commercial relationships Develop continuously deep understanding of products, markets, verticals, ECO system, trends and competitors and become a thought leader for NEC in our development of potential ideas and solutions Create a best of breed strategic partner list, motivate these to work with NEC long term and to initiate lead generation activities for the agreed solution on both sides Collaborate closely with and empower Product Management, Solutions Management, Marketing Communication and Sales to transfer ideas into solutions Increase our customer satisfaction by enhancing a compelling offering in end-to-end solutions Ensure compliances based on existing policies and support design and implementation of new policies Establish benefit criteria for recruiting partners, assessing their strategic and/or revenue based value to NEC Knowledge and skills requirements University degree in business administration with technical focus or in engineering with business focus or comparable experiences Profound experience in IT market in an international environment and comparable positions Strong background in PC/ Display solutions and deep understanding of visual solution technologies Sound knowledge of partner management processes/ tools and good project management skills Excellent presentation skills and outstanding communications skills on all organizational levels Fluent in German and English, additional language skills are an advantage Entrepreneurial thinking and acting Target oriented personality with passion about products Willingness and ability to travel (ca. 35%) If you are interested in this challenging task and want to join one of the leading display manufacturers you are invited to forward your application with salary request and earliest starting date preferably via e-mail to
