The candidate must be able to work with a wide variety of contacts as suppliers, carriers and customers. Advanced skills, such as PC and spreadsheet software, are needed. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Logistics Manager. Professional training as a forwarding agent, industrial management assistant or comparable education Previous experience in manufacturing, shipping or logistics a plus Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and ERP systems Strong math skills and good problem-solving abilities Ability to coordinate a multitude of activities in a busy manufacturing plant area Ability to communicate in English and German across all levels of the employee-base is essential
