Job Purpose/Role

Accounting & Reporting Allianz SE provides reliable, high quality financial information to management, investors, analysts, regulators and the general public through external reporting.
As Accounting and Reporting Expert you will be part of the Closing & Principles team for Reinsurance.
This team is in charge of reinsurance based accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS, HGB and Solvency II for Allianz SE, the holding and reinsurance company of Allianz Group. The responsibilities of this team range from accounting policy guidance, preparation of quarterly and annual closings, planning and analysis of financial data to presentation of results to various internal and external stakeholders (Management/Supervisor/Public).
As Accounting and Reporting Expert you will take a pivotal role in the monthly and quarterly accounting closing tasks as well as actively support preparation of the financial statements and assist in regulatory reporting for Allianz SE. #### Key Responsibilities • Participate in preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB as well as Solvency II regulatory reporting (QRT’s)
• Preparation and coordination of the regulatory reporting to the regulators (e.g. BaFin, Bundesbank)
• Perform analysis of Allianz SE financial statements to ensure compliance and integrity of financial reporting
• Act as interface with the regulator and auditors on accounting matters and significant transactions

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

Qualification:
• University degree in finance, economics, or related field; additional professional qualifications preferred (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
• Fluent in business English and German
Experience & Key Skills:
• Solid IFRS and HGB accounting knowledge with 3 – 5 years working experience in (re-)insurance industry
• Background/knowledge/experience of regulatory reporting is a plus
• Proficiency in using SAP, Microsoft Office (strong command of Excel) and IT reporting tools
• Very good analytical and communication skills, strong team player
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly evolving environment while delivering high quality solutions
