Cyber-Services Consultant (m/f/d)* Location Munich The Corporate Underwriting Cyber department was created to take advantage of the significant growth in cyber business. Cyber experts and insurance experts handle the main success factors, such as realistic estimates of accumulation risk and the development of service partnerships or the promotion of standards in terms of wordings. The goal is to strengthen the business units in developing profitable cyber business. Corporate Underwriting Cyber is divided into three sections: Cyber UW Standards & Support, Cyber Actuarial Services and Cyber Services & Innovation. Cyber Services & Innovation have already become an integral part of Munich Re's cyber-product portfolio and widely accepted within the Group as a differentiator in the market. We are constantly trying to expand our services portfolio by acquiring new partners and working with existing partners to extend our global footprint. As a cyber-services consultant, you will be working closely with business units and teams in central departments such as Claims, Corporate Underwriting, and Procurement to define the type of services to be offered, and create guidelines to facilitate selection of fit-for-purpose service partners while assuring a high-quality service. You will assist the cyber portfolio manager in creating transparency over our services portfolio and our activities with service providers worldwide. You will also work very closely with service managers in different business units to prioritize demand and respond effectively to market needs. Your job Communicating with stakeholders across all global cyber teams. Facilitating regular calls and other methods of information-sharing platforms for exchange among stakeholders. Contributing to the development of internal solutions enabling wide range of stakeholders to get and share information on our services portfolio and status of relations with providers Scanning the market and researching what is available on the market in the various regions to support development of new services. Working with internal innovation and scouting resources to access their market research capabilities Assessing the fitness for purpose of cyber-technology providers Preparing advisory notes for stakeholders (internal and external customers) and participating in client meetings when necessary to explain results of our assessments Providing feedback to potential or existing business partners where needed Negotiating terms for «global» service providers, new global providers, and renewal Managing service providers by making sure demand from business is met, renewals of contracts are executed, and updates on services are communicated internally. Representing Munich Re as a Group to simplify transacting with the Group and enable acquiring services in scale. You will deal with a wide range and many types of services and service providers (ex. cyber response, breach coaches, legal counsel, PR, forensic accountants, pre-incident service providers, regional and global providers) and will be supported by experts Your profile Ability to maintain focus meeting tight deadlines, and excellent organizational skills Knowledge of cyber-insurance market and providers servicing the market would be necessary Knowledge of broader cyber-security solutions market would be preferred, but is not mandatory Ability to understand contractual language, discuss our priorities with procurement and legal teams, and lead negotiations with service providers Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally Ability to write technical and managerial reports presenting group opinions Very good command of English (written and orally) A positive ability to influence key, strategic stakeholders across locations and functions About us Munich Re is one of the world's leading reinsurance companies with more than 11,000 employees at over 50 locations around the globe.
