Manages operations for Europe, which includes 3 plants in Western Europe and Eastern Europe and a total of 1.400 employees Has as direct subordinate Plant Managers in the execution of their responsibilities to ensure meeting the BU's operational objectives Has to work in cooperation with and through the management teams of the individual operation, develop and implement the operating plans, strategies, and systems Provides inspired leadership for the operation of European plants Develops and implements the long-term and short-term Footprint Strategy in accordance with the business growth strategy Leads organizational development activities within operations to ensure a stable organizational structure is in place to support the growth and continuous improvement Ensures all EU plants comply to all statutory requirements and standards as SOX, HS&E and Legal & Ethical policies Monitors operational performance by standardized metrics and introduce productivity improvements Develops effective policies and procedures at all key operational interfaces, including control and release of engineering documentation, control and reporting of financial/cost data, and procedures for communication of status to customers on either product pricing or program status Supports effective labor relations in all EU locations, union and company related issues. Works with HR professionals in negotiations with labor organizations, as required.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree level education or equivalent, MBA desirable 10 years overall manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years plant management experience preferred Experience of operating in the automotive industry Ability to work cross-functionally, in a European organization, managing multiple projects and competing priorities Ability to identify inefficiency in different business processes and make recommendations to simplify and improve process Knowledge and background in quality systems Experience in diverse manufacturing processes Wide experience assembly and automation processes in Automotive Excellent written and presentation skills Strong financial and general business skills Business level German and English language ability Team player Jetzt bewerben * Die Recruiter Benchmark stellt einen Orientierungswert dar.
