General Manager DACH (w/m/d)


Job Purpose: Lead the sales activities of CYBEX in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) so that this part of the organization achieves its short and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the overall global business plan

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Develops, communicates, manages and executes strategic sales business plans and processes in our core market in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland): including Go-to-market strategies, objectives, budget, policies, metrics, milestones and special programs
  • Lead and develop our regional sales and marketing organization by building, training high performing teams in a multidimensional matrixorganization
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing seamless client touchpoints with a consistent message, ensuring site placements and performance marketing align with site merchandising; propose unique commercial incentives to exploit digital-specific and omnichannel services
  • Develop and implement targeted solutions for expanding the customer base and establishing greater market share / penetration
  • Monitor, track, analyze and evaluate profit margin, revenue stream, sales methods, expenses and overall results, taking corrective action when plan is below target
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, while overseeing account management of all other customers
  • Maintain customer relationships, making direct solicitation of key national and international accounts
  • Assist in the establishment of pricing policies and schedules, including volume discounts and terms and conditions for high-profile customers
  • Develop strong work relationships with other departments (e.g. marketing, retail offline / online) will be required to deliver on established sales business plan objectives
  • Stay abreast and knowledgeable of market and market trends, competitors and leading customer strategies

Required education and experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a senior-level sales position within the durable goods/consumer packaged goods industry
  • OmniChannel sales experiences (local special retailers and dealers, cooperatives, multinational sales organizations, E-Commerce)
  • Experience in premium or luxury segments and high end speciality retail strongly preferred

Technical education and specialized skills:

  • Successful track record of developing and executing both tactical and strategic level sales and trade marketing plans
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial leadership abilities
  • English Business Fluent
  • Willingness to travel
