SERVICES FOR EUROPE’S CORE INFRASTRUCTURE! As Operations Engineer you
will be responsible for the seamless operation of the manifold of critical
business processes of our client‘s services. Our client is a European service
company in the energy sector with about 50 employees from 18 countries. Based
in Munich, it aims to be the best-in-class service provider for critical
infrastructures in Central Europe. We are looking for an analytical and stress-resilient

GRID OPERATIONS ENGINEER – Energy & Data Quality

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

  • Run and supervise highly critical operational
    processes and supervise the operation of our client’s software platform
  • Organise and moderate video conferences during the
    daily process
  • Moderate weekly conference calls to align outage planning
    information and adequacy assessments with transmission system operators
  • Assess the quality of services and deliver reports
    towards internal and external stakeholders
  • React on sudden issues and on short-term customer
    requests to improve service and data quality
  • Perform data quality analysis and collaborate with
    team members to improve service quality
  • Provide feedback on business and IT developments to
    further extend service and tool portfolio and support testing new tools
  • Actively participate in product training for customers
  • Regular exchange with other service providers in the sector

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical
    Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or similar
  • Basic knowledge of energy grids, electricity market
    principles or capacity calculation methodologies recommended
  • Experience in grid
    operation, regional security coordination and cross-border capacity calculation
    are advantageous
  • Experience in moderation of video conferences and
    resolving of conflicts are a plus
  • Dedication to quality and customer satisfaction
  • Open-minded and willing to drive change
  • A pro-active, stress-resilient personality and a self-dependent working style
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
    English
