Once educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses sign on to use Google Cloud products, you come in to facilitate making their work more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

As the Head of Cloud Partner Engineering in the DACH region, you’ll manage teams and drive growth within the organization. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to help customers and clients realize maximum business potential from Google Cloud.

You’ll solve key issues for our customers while liaising with Sales, Product Engineering, Technical Infrastructure, Marketing, Channels and other cross-functional teams. You will manage a team that are seen as Partner Specialists within the overall customer engineering organization in Google Cloud. You will also help build a robust and self-sufficient partner ecosystem capable of driving a significant portion of our business through an indirect channel.

From startups building their first app to billion-user consumer companies crunching big data, the Google Cloud Platform gives developers and businesses the most advanced data and analytics solution on the market, along with Google’s secure, high performance infrastructure. Our team of technical account managers and software engineers work with partners across all functions to develop solutions that harness Google’s planet-wide platform to solve the world’s most challenging problems.


  • Collaborate with Google Cloud partner development managers to build business plans with partners that define how they will grow their business with Google.
  • Work with key partners to increase the adoption of Google Cloud services by investing in building out their Google Cloud capability and readiness.
  • Engage with Chief Technical Officers and other technical leads at partners to share technology roadmaps as well as the latest innovations, showing the path toward expanding the partnership further.
  • Manage an organization of Partner Sales Engineering Managers and Partner Sales Engineers to meet quarterly and annual objectives for the region by targeting enterprise companies with a constant march up-market.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience working in a partner or channel manager position.
  • Experience in a people manager role, leading geographically-distributed teams.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
  • Experience using and/or managing databases.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.
  • Knowledge of web application development platforms and related technologies.
  • Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience.
