HR Reporting Data Specialist (m/f/d) in HR Operations, Analytics & Reporting


Job Purpose/Role

Allianz is currently transforming it’s HR Function and strategically investing into building an HR Analytics and Reporting Function. This role will be part of the global People Analytics Community. Your responsibilities will therefore include: designing, developing and testing the reporting data strategy to support delivery and compliance with group & HR policies and standards. You will be also responsible to driving and building up an HR Reporting Data Management approach based on processes and systems. The role has both a technical side with the data model delivery as well as a business analysis side to gain the necessary understanding for the data definitions and usage. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying data entities/sources and describing the relationships between them, as a model, based on business context, process and existing systems. Additionally, you will liaise with the HR IT Platform Manager and will also help to identify redundant systems/processes which can be eliminated.
Also, you will report to the Head of HR Controlling and work closely with all other functions as well as with HR Data Privacy and HRIT Security Experts, HR Analysts and HR Reporting Experts locally, regionally and globally as well as with the HR Experts (SME) of global HR processes. #### Key Responsibilities • Lead the development of reporting data strategy
• Manage the relationship and work closely with external and internal teams to manage data migration (incl. identification, mapping and cleansing activities)
• Drive further analyses of other data models as needed, e.g. documentation of application, business rules, transformation as well as data flows and integration rules
• Derive data concepts from documented requirements
• Support the implementation of an overall HR Data Management Strategy and Standards based on Group Architectural Standards
• Identify and obtain approval from stakeholders re Data Model and data definitions
• Collaborate closely with DPO and IT Security roles
• Define technical requirements and support the implementation and deployment of technology to the rest of the organization
• Perform regular data reviews and assessments together with partners
• Support analysis of ongoing reporting requirements and close data gaps when possible
• Maintain metrics catalogue together with relevant stakeholders
• Support with the development of a data modelling capability within HR

• Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills an asset
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members and customers

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills, especially communication, in a multi-cultural working environment
• Able to cope in difficult/conflict situations in a serviced oriented manner
• Very good understanding of the employee Value Chain and Metrics-Systems incl. selection criteria
• Deep understanding of internal vendor concepts and processes (e.g. AZ Technology)
Experience & Key Skills:
• Deep data / metric management; HR reporting and analytical expert knowledge
• Technical expertise and market knowledge of cloud-based technologies and data warehousing
• Deep understanding of data modeling and data migration approaches
• Good understanding of how application, data, infrastructure and network design combine to achieve high performance, availability, resilience and scalability of solution
• Understand the inter-relationship between data tools and how these can improve data management maturity
Qualification / Experience / Education
• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• HR analytics experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in analyzing and designing multiple aspects of the data solution including source system
• Demonstrated excellence in data extraction, data cleansing and preparation, database management as well as data analysis and reporting
• Experience with cloud-based reporting software is strongly preferred
• HRIS architecture management experience is needed
