Job Purpose:  

  • To develop our Acronis Cloud business in Europe as part of a wider strategy to build a compelling Hybrid Cloud sales model across the region.
  • To drive profitable market share growth through business plan creation and execution, utilising Tech Data sales teams and various marketing and business tools to address all relevant routes to market

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for growing Tech Data’s share of wallet (market share) with the vendor
  • Ownership of developing and executing the vendor business plan
  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans alongside the Marketing Manager
  • Accurate and timely weekly forecasting and pipeline development
  • Development of key channel relationships
  • Key customer engagement
  • Vendor operational, sales and marketing team engagement
  • Large deal & pipeline engagement
  • Driving the presence and profile of the vendor(s) internally within Tech Data  and externally to customers
  • Negotiate on deals and rebates
  • Input into purchasing, sales and pricing policy
  • Strategic input into vendor market propositions
  • People management and development (where applicable)

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Understanding and background with either the Acronis vendor or cloud, backup & storage market
  • A knowledge of product and technology portfolio
  • IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors and Competition
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Commercial awareness

  • Highly numerate
  • Experience of SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantage

  • Degree in a business related subject is desirable / an advantage
  • Experience of people management and development an advantage
