Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Creating a sales acquisition plan for the targeted territory and customer segment to gain new prospects
  • Applying best practices and the latest technologies to generate new leads
  • Qualifying leads generated by Marketing
  • Managing accounts already acquired in your territory/segment
  • Connecting with new prospects in your target territory on a regular basis to understand their business and maintaining the relationship via phone and email
  • Visiting new prospects and accounts regularly for new and post-sales opportunities
  • Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
  • Understand and convey the product’s value proposition and competitive differentiation
  • Organising demos, briefing the Pre-sales team before demos with a value-driven attitude
  • Working with other Sales reps and Sales Management to build pipeline and to close deals
  • Maintain a close cooperation with Marketing and Pre-sales/Consulting
  • Updating the CRM with lead information and activity tasks

Expected Skills / Work Experience & Educational Background

  • BA/BSc/MSc degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years IT/technology/telco sales experience preferable
  • Experience in one of our target segments (automotive/medical/avionics) as technology sales is an advantage
  • Experience in selling at a senior management level (VP/C-level)
  • Negotiation level German and English skills
  • Additional language skills is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity and work effectively in a results-driven culture
  • Good time management skills, self-motivated personality
  • The ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity
  • Excellent communication/presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM is an advantage
