The Marketing Lead Germany, Switzerland, Austria (GSA) is accountable for providing successful leadership, management and governance of a range of integrated marketing programs aimed at clients and prospects. Furthermore, the person is overseeing a team focused on developing the strategy for issue-based, buyer-based and sector-based programs and for integrations across service lines, market segments (industries), geographic regions and strategic solutions within GSA.

  • Adapt the global marketing strategy for the GSA market as well as develop an annual marketing plan covering the marketing needs of all key dimensions of the organization and delivering maximum impact for EY with its clients and prospects 

  • Develop further key marketing methodologies as well as tools, especially in the area of Digital Marketing and the operating model of the Marketing team, to guarantee outstanding marketing advice and campaign executions, fully respecting brand guidelines and outstanding client satisfaction

  • Conduct regular client satisfaction reviews and guarantee excellent advice (advice methodology, advice tools, communications) and project management in marketing programs

  • Build up a network of external providers (incl. GDS) that deliver marketing project executions for best price/value; develop and negotiate service levels, monitor quality and provide continuously increasing number of “do it yourself” tools and offers 

  • Coach “Business Partners – Markets” on advice and relationship management, as well as “Specialist Function Leaders – Marketing” on specialism development, service delivery development and project management  

  • Set up and monitor a marketing budget covering all marketing programs 

What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future

  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree (or equivalent area of study or experience)

  • 12+ years of marketing and communications experience in a world-class global organization

  • Experience leading relationship-building and revenue-generating programs within a people organization with proven and demonstrable results

  • Experience leading transformational marketing programs within a multinational environment

  • Experience leading and managing large, diverse and virtual high-performance teams

  • Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior-level stakeholders
