We are looking for a Post-Production Manager to join our Creative Team. You are a post-production management mastermind with an initial background in production. From small thumbnails to high value video assets, you manage the post-production process and ensure requests are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards. You are also comfortable to setup local shoots as needed, and coordinate with external producers for larger shoots. You have an uncanny organisational ability and are well versed in Kanban task management. Your work is amplified by a great understanding of video, photo and design post-production. Most of the experience you’ve accumulated was forged in environments with a strong focus on digital distribution. Now you are ready to take on the mantle of Post-Production Manager at Freeletics where you will be the logistics brain of the creative team, managing all post-production requests. You will work hand in hand with all marketing teams as well as freelancers to help ship great content.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and manage the post-production process for the creative team. 
  • Supervise the post-production task management. 
  • Setup and execute small local shoots as needed.
  • Liaise with external producers and prod companies for larger shoots. 
  • Manage the creative requests board with the assistance of producers. 
  • Provide organizational support to the creatives in order to ensure the timely execution of post-production tasks.
  • Ensure post-production deadlines are met within due time and budget.
  • Generate clear post-production reports and insights to optimize the process. 
  • Liaise with Freeletics teams and externals to keep post-production running smoothly. 
  • Hold regular meetings to provide updates on post-production.
  • Handle post-production scheduling, planning and invoicing.
  • Manage the production budgets and provide frequent updates.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years experience in post-production and production.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex post-production workflows. 
  • Experience within a marketing organization or with marketing-first clients. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and optimise processes. 
  • Deep understanding of video and photo post-production. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Kanban board task management. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets. 
  • Clear ability to coordinate 5-10 freelancers on a daily basis.
  • Strong ability to tactfully ensure the progress of post-production tasks. 
  • Masterful negotiation skills to lower spend and improve asset ROI
  • Strong network of video and photo post-production freelancers.
  • Excellent team player that fosters collaboration and respect.
  • Hands-on, no-barrier mindset and the ability just get it done.  
  • Fluent in English and German with good oral and written communication skills.
