Support V&V teams at all necessary levels (powertrain, vehicle) Lead troubleshooting of product failures and track issues using defect management process Communicate project technical status internally and externally Keep up to date related KPIs

As part of the expansion of the company, for our R&D team in Munich, Germany, we are looking for: Power Electronics System Engineer (f/m/x) Job description: Attached to the power electronics (inverter, charger, DC/DC, ...) development division, you will: Contribute to develop power electronics components for powertrain systems meeting ISO 26262 safety standard Work on a modular and scalable architecture to be applied across a range of low-voltage and high-voltage powertrains Interact with project managers and internal technical experts to provide inputs for the technology development and roadmap. Interact with all stakeholders to gather requirements and derive them as a basis for HW/SW/Mechanical design (including new design as well as application engineering). Define the component specification and ensure traceability of requirements Contribute to the component validation, compliance testing and certification of the integrated equipment. Support V&V teams at all necessary levels (powertrain, vehicle) Lead troubleshooting of product failures and track issues using defect management process Communicate project technical status internally and externally Keep up to date related KPIs Profile: Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or equivalent combination of education. 5+ years of professional experience in development of automotive components. Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, e-motor controls principles, torque security, inverters, HV systems, voltage regulation and thermal management. Understanding of vehicle communication architecture as well as CAN protocol Experience in requirement management tools and processes, able to break down a system into logical components by function and/or feature. Experience with ISO 26262 and FMEA approach, basic knowledge of quality systems like CMMI, ISO TS16949 are advantageous Learn by doing: entrepreneurial mindset driven by hands-on experimentation. High level of initiative and demonstrated problem solving experience. Analytical, organizational and communication skills both verbal and written in English English minimum B2 level, German or French would be an advantage.
