Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a New Business Sales Manager, you’ll work with a wide variety of end client advertisers and advertising agencies to deliver the optimal advertising solution for every account. You will lead a team of entrepreneurial Sales Representatives to optimize opportunities. Your interest in sales, the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive will enable new advertisers to expand their businesses with Google’s latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of the advertising agency ecosystem, TV buying, agency ecosystem, and ability to source and come up with new advertisers to Google will be a key to your success.

  • Work closely with the team and clients to deliver solutions that solve our clients’ business challenges and grow relationships with clients’ executives through both in-person meetings and other communication channels.
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the team. Identify and coach future leaders of the organization.
  • Scale the team by capitalizing on opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency by driving key automation and productivity initiatives.
  • Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development.
  • Be quantitative in your approach to team strategy using data to make strategic changes as the team size grows.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in direct sales management with a focus on building, growing and leading multiple teams.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in sales, marketing, and/or consulting.
  • Experience working in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media specific industry.
  • Ability to optimize new business by presenting media solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Successful track record in directly driving business, maintaining client relationships and people management.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, organization, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
