Yara and Digital Farming
For over a century, Yara has worked to feed the world and protect the planet, and our mission is to do so in a responsible and sustainable way. Yara provides crop nutrition products, solutions and knowledge to 20 million farmers across 160 countries and has helped to reduce NOx emissions by 1.4 million tons in 2016. That’s equivalent to all of the NOx emissions produced in France or Germany. With this level of reach, you’ll be able to make a real and tangible impact with your work.
A newly established global unit called Digital Farming has been created within Yara to use digital solutions to help us achieve this goal. We are building solution for farmers, constructing hardware and sensors, crunching satellite data, applying artificial intelligence, and turning research results into solutions. Our team is made of designers, software engineers, hardware developers, data scientist, solution managers and product owners. The success of Digital Farming and its solution is a key priority within Yara, and we plan to significantly grow our global business presence in this field.
Be the data hero that help the business to excel in data analysis
Create and help power users to create reports that make data becomes information
Create models that can help the business areas to enhance its KPIs (eg: Model consumer behavior and build user persona)
Maintain the data landscape and consistently seek opportunities to enhance understanding of customers, market and product fit, etc
Ensure tracking, stitching and reporting enabling the understanding of the business parts like customer acquisition process, cost, product usage, etc
Drive product strategy by defining hypothesis, designing experiments and perform A/B testing to continuously optimize product features/consumer behavior and metrics
Help shape the data team and its procedures. As a member of a newly created group, there is a lot to contribute to.
Have managed end-to-end product / data analytics for digital products (mobile apps, websites) covering from data acquisition to reporting and marketing analytics
Handled at least three detailed business analysis/intelligence domain projects such as product performance analytics, user analytics, marketing analytics, sales / transaction analytics & reporting etc.
Experience in Python for data analytics and hands on experience in BI tools (we use PowerBI) is highly preferred
Have worked with product analytics tool sets (GA, Segment, Amplitude, etc.) and have in-depth knowledge on their integration in digital products (mobile apps)
Knowledgeable in applied statistical methods, visualization, database queries and leveraging Excel / PowerPoint / dashboards for communication to stakeholder
Preferably, have experience in setting up and managing a team of analyst with common best practices for product analytics
