Job Purpose/Role

Based in Munich and reporting to the Global Head of HR, the Talent & Development role at AZ Reinsurance is responsible for the development and implementation of core processes and activities related to talent and career management, and employee development. This includes the definition and roll-out of Talent Management activities for AZ Re which are aligned with business strategy and AZ Group standards. #### Key Responsibilities • Supports the Allianz Re management team and business leaders in strengthening the leadership capabilities in their teams
• Leads and facilitates Talent Discussions (former CDCs) in liaison with Head of HR and HR BPs, supports CxOs and line managers in creating succession and development plans for critical roles/talents and follows up on Talent Discussion action plans
• Coordinates the Allianz Re nominations for career transition programs (e.g. Navigator, PAE/PASE Development Centers); supports line managers in defining and following up on development plans for critical talents
• Consults business in the areas of organizational excellence, cultural change and Talent Management. A focus topic is to support the WoW and HR TaskForce activities, as well as any related People & Culture initiatives.
• Oversees design and effective delivery of learning and development programs that are aligned to Allianz Re business needs, also assesses their impact. (e.g. AZ Re Strengths Based Leadership Program)
• Drives diversity topics for AZ Re and supports local initiatives e.g. Cross-OE Mentoring Circles, Gender balance network Schwabing, Kids Day Schwabing, etc.
• Responsible for implementing AZ Group initiatives like #LEAD
• Drives and coordinates all necessary activities related to HRT roll-out in area of responsibility
• Uses internal and external best practices to further evolve AZ Re tools and processes in talent management and leadership development
• Works closely with HR Business Partners to consult line managers on options to enhance performance and engagement levels in their teams
• Analyzes and proposes approaches to improve the alignment of recruitment, development and performance management processes in order to identify/address skill and talent gaps

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in HR, ideally Talent Management and in a global business environment
• University degree in business psychology, business administration or related studies
• Project management experience
• Confident to work with multiple senior stakeholders across various areas of the business
• Good knowledge and understanding of concepts, tools and techniques of change and HR management (esp. leadership, cultural/ behavioral change, career management, performance management, T&D)
• Proficient IT Skills (MS Office, SAP HR, Success Factors, etc.)
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, can do attitude
• Strong consultative and problem solving approach with good networking and relationship building skills
• Solid conceptual thinking, well-structured methodological approach
• Ability to learn fast
