To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Manager - Corporate Affairs and Communication (m/f/d) Ref.No.: 111_T79_008 | Cologne In this role, you will manage all Corporate Affairs and Communications functions and related budget processes for Yazaki Europe Ltd. (YEL). This includes creative services, external and internal events, employee communications and engagement, public relations (PR), media relations, social media, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Your responsibilities: Media, analyst and influencer relations, securing earned media coverage, innovations and executives; addressing media inquiries and coordinating interviews; executive/subject matter expert interview preparation; issue management, and crisis communication Social media monitoring, maintenance, and management of the official YEL platforms spanning 22 countries and 5 language markets Digital media management, which includes website management and developing an online multimedia library Develop and execute PR objectives, strategies, tools and tactics to support media relations Manage commercial and business relationships with communications agency/consulting firm partners Corporate Social Responsibility (20%) Develop and execute a corporate citizenship engagement and sustainability promotion strategy, which includes creating and managing a sponsorships and donations budget; responding to solicitations; processing approved payments; attending various community affairs and educational programs Internal Communications (40%) Manage overall internal communications activities, which includes developing and maintaining effective communications tools and channels to provide associates with up-to-date corporate messaging, business information, and relevant associate interests; policy deployment support (i. e. mission, vision, values, President's Policies); design, draft and publish employee communications portal, digital sign content, and current newsletter stories; develop and issue executive and organizational announcements and internal memos Plan and organize monthly All Employee Meetings, which includes topic identification; presentation development; content creation; deploying feedback tools and analysing and applying results Provide internal crisis, urgent communications, and issue management support; provide ad hoc communications support to the company president, chairman, human resources vice president and other senior level executives Plan and organize the annual Yazaki Summer Camp program and other internal employee events Develop and execute a corporate internal communications plan in alignment with Yazaki North America Your profile: Minimum Bachelor degree and at least 10 years of related experience or related education Communications & PR Certification focus preferred but not required A strong working knowledge of communications disciplin including, but not limited to public relations, media relations, social and digital media management, communications project planning, change management and public speaking Outstanding written and oral communication skills Very good MS Office skills Experience in project management Strong motivation to support PR function Willingness to travel up to 30% We appreciate strong leadership skills, a strategic and analytical thinking combined with a strong target- and result-oriented approach.
