At TÜV SÜD the Strategic Account Manager is assigned to one of the most strategic customers of the group.
He / she represents TÜV SÜD in all sales / strategic activities and acts as interface between the customer and the internal sales organization, also on Exec. level
He / she analyzes the customer and the competitive situation for TÜV SÜD, and manages the Strategic Account, develops and implements the account strategy (documented in Account Plan)
He / she leads, coordinates and motivates the global team with the goal of building a trusted and long term customer relationship.
Based out of Munich this position reports directly to the head of Global Sales (GSM-S)
Grow business with the Accounts for TÜV SÜD across divisions and globally
Analyze the Strategic Accounts and provide transparency
Develop a strategy for the Strategic Accounts
Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans
Manage opportunities and customer relationships in close cooperation with the divisions and regions globally
Manage and lead the virtual SAM-teams
Feed customer requirements back into divisions and regions, in order to contribute to market strategy and portfolio development
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience in Sales in the environment of Account Management within an international organization
A background in consulting or professional services
Comprehensive knowledge of the TÜV SÜD portfolio
Excellent social skills with an aptitude for building strong external and internal relations
Profound ability to communicate in English (plus language at customer HQ if different)
Industry insight, future development and understanding of decision-making processes in the customer’s industry
Ability to analyze and address challenges at the customer and internally
Abilities in project management, financial interpretation and business valuation and affinity to information technology
Ideally an existing network at the customer
Flexibility and willingness to travel
