Full job description
- Gallery management, organization of exhibition and staff management
- Promotion, marketing, PR on international market
- Customer service and sales for local and international product
- Administration and finance: managing cost and supervising contract and compliance with applicable laws)
- Contract and documentation: ensuring documents are correct and legal
- Supervision and sales documentation: invoicing and recording transaction, reporting sales to the Agra Art in Warsaw
Required qualification
- Min. 5 years of experience in managing an art gallery, auction house or cultural institution.
- Experience in selling works of art and dealing with collectors.
- Knowledge of the art market in Poland, Germany and Europe.
Competence
- Knowledge of art and the auction market - good orientation in trends, artists and mechanisms of selling art.
- Negotiation and communication skills - the ability to talk to customers and business partners.
- Organizational skills - the ability to plan and coordinate exhibitions and promotional activities.
- Marketing and PR - experience in promoting artistic events and building relationships with the media.
- Knowledge of languages - fluency in German and English; Knowledge of Polish will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of German law regulation concerning the operation of art galleries as well as international Cooperation and Customs Regulation
