User Centered Workflow / User Interface Architect (m/w/d)
You understand customers current and future workflow needs and help create user-centred designs. You structure workflow needs into packages that can be presented to Riedel's Product Management and Development teams and brainstorm and iterate to create world class product elements. Furthermore, you work closely with internal stakeholders - in particular Product Managers - on holistic cross platform UI/UX concepts with a view to help unify elements together seamlessly. Research market workflow trends, UI/UX workflow trends and benchmark existing solutions Discuss, review and evolve workflow concepts with end-users incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings Structure feedback and report into key stakeholders such as Product Managers Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) to help visual concepts and ideas for development teams Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) across product families Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineering, and key management stakeholders
Ideally, you have a successful completed university studies in a technical field, e.g. Electronic/Software engineering, Industrial Design, Fine Arts or related field or relevant experience in a business / technology environment. 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field Deep experience in User-centric workflow and user interface design with 2+ years' experience in a software/hardware manufacturing business with international customer base Knowledge of License based business models an advantage Knowledge of audio and video routing and processing technology Experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) Proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc. Understanding of basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus Highly motivated self -starter able to overcome issues and challenges Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions A highly collaborative team player with an internal and external customer centric mindset who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders Capability to manage direct relationships with customers, developers and industry thought leaders Able to work under pressure and manage time and resources effectively Able to manage several projects simultaneously Ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner and incorporate ideas from key stakeholders Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics Mobility and willingness to travel Good written and spoken English, good German skills are an advantage
